Most Underrated/Overrated Artists

Underrated: Dethklok. Alot of people discredit them because their based on a cartoon show, but most of the music is great, though sometimes epic to a ridiculous extent. Brendan Small (the real Nathan Explosion) is an amazing musician and songwriter.

I'll take Brand X instead thank you. Though Kings X and Planet X are good. Static X? Ehhhhhhhhhh.

Not even God has a proper answer for that question.

The Wall has arabiance to it, but it's fairly condensed and meandering. The long, drawn-out, sometimes droning arabiance of krautrock were probably a lot more important for Post-Rock, which follows the same suit.

Personally I'm very indifferent to The Wall now. It's usually what people assume 'overrates' Pink Floyd. A pretty decent album has been given far too much praise if you ask me.

Indeed. The stereotypical Tool fan is the problem... Being overrated by your fanbase is completely different than being overrated by the general public.

Those sparse Gilmour solos are the only reason I can even get through that album at all. "The Fletcher Memorial Home" is ok at best (still the best on the album, though...heh) but I actually don't mind it all once Gilmour kicks in. Every time I hear that song it's like watching a movie where you know what is going to happen but you hope it will be different this time. That solo should be 20 minutes long, but it is over waaayy too soon.

I will be looking in to him. I'll get back to you :D

@other guy: Sorry, I just think of JJ as sort of a god. He's always been there for me when I need to relax. (Oh, and I go to his alma mater :D)

Tru for some reason I just don't put her in the mainstream category because she doesn't overexpose her self and plus she exactly has some talent.
