Most Underrated Films

Ditto to that.

I only discovered Shane Meadows a few months back, and so far I have seen 'This is England', 'A room for Romeo Brass' and 'Dead man shoes' - All pretty low key movies, and all pretty damn good.

Dead mans shoes is the one though. I was the on the edge of my seat the whole time. Considine was truly frightening and the performances and settings were realistic and raw.

10/10 from me.

I would also say that 'Catch me if you can' is pretty underrated, as in nobody I know seems to have heard of it. A great movie in my opinion. Based on the true story of Frank Abagnale Jr, an extraordinary conman who managed to con millions by forging cheques whilst blagging high paid jobs and impersonating professionals - All before his 19th birthday. The movie is warm, slick, stylish, funny and gripping. I am no Leonardo Di Caprio fan but he nails this one. Tom Hanks puts in a sterling performace too, in a rare supporting role.

Its got to be the Fountain. It got panned by critics yet its beautiful, thought provoking and touching. The film stayed with me ever since I watched it.

Magical movie.

I think we've established already that the Aston Martin thing was not part of your ammunition stash :D

The Holodeck thing did make for a funny gag at the end. How appropriate do you think that the last Bond Girl for Brosnan actually turned out to be MoneyPenny, even if it wasn't real. lol
