Sleep is legendary in stoner metal circles, but certainly not the maintstream. And for the life of me, I can't see why High On Fire (also by Matt Pike) isn't one of the biggest names in metal. :crazy:

I find that Dir En Grey and Malice Mizer get some of the largest acclaim for a foreign band. They have quite large fan bases.

It's not original as I said! They have only made one album- Everybody Looks The same. The opening 16 minute track is enough to convince me how good they are.
