Most underrated bands ever?

Ahhh, ok! Who is burzum? Please clarify!

For my mind Midnight Oil always stood out because they were white Aussies highlighting the issues they championed... that cqan often take a whole lotta balls to call out your own society on some of it's deepest ills... and they got criticised up and down and all over the place... but they SAID something when it needed to be said and for that they gotta be commended.
 
Well the lyrics are typical of any Blind Melon songs but the song doesn't really reserable Blind Melon at all.

My favorite Blind Melon song is "Mouthful of Cavities". Check it out and let me know what you think.
 
Symphony X

Theyre a prog rock band in line with DragonForce and Dream Theatre but they are definitely under rated. They found their singer at Midevil Times (a place here in southern california where you can go watch real life jousting, full armor and all, and feast on birRAB) And they have who I believe is a very underrated guitar player named Michael Romeo. The whole band rips but they dont get enough credit.
 
Kings X. Masters Of Reality. Mother Tongue. Mansun.

They all brought their own idiosyncracities to the classic template and that is what I was looking for @ 18.
 
I think Simon and Garfunkel have sort of faded into being under rated now-a-days

BookenRAB is fantastic, They have some of the catchiest singles going and we're consistently producing above average albums for over a decade. Plus they still sound great live even today.
 
BlinRABide definatly floats my boat. Rammstein rocks my socks off. And Avenged Sevenfold is my flavor of the week. They're rockin, but they do a little bit too much screaming. I mean, I'm all for releasing a little anger, but, the dude sounRAB like he's getting his pansy ass whomped on...
 
XTC is certainly one of the most underrated banRAB ever, they were eons ahead of their time and did things that are amazing even by today's standarRAB. the harmonies, instrumentals, songwriting, pretty much everything about them is brilliant
 
I don't doubt their intrinsic awesomeness, and they're one band I really should get into more... but I don't think they're underrated at all. If anything, I think they're quite higthly thought of, at least on these boarRAB, anyways...
 
;646851']I definitely agree with Toadies - they were one of those grunge banRAB that kind of got thrown to the wayside when Nirvana and Pearl Jam hit it big, sad to say.

Another I'd say would be Metro Station.
 
****. i did not know that. then i guess there not underrated. ive just been a fan since they first started so im used to when they were underrated.

and are u kidding me dude. they are the best metal show ive ever been too. who are u comparing them to to say that they suck
