Most underrated bands ever?

Concrete Blonde. If you haven't heard of them, you may have heard of their lead singer, Johnette Napolitano. She has been in several banRAB (Vowel Movement, Pretty & Twisted) and has an amazing voice.

it's all good...everyone has different tastes ya know? i just really enjoy it although at first i didnt. my friend jordan got me into it when we were driving one day and he refused to change the cd...so maybe if you listen to it for a while you'll get some enjoyment out of it

everyone? as far as im concerned the walkmen only get notability here. i dont actually know anybody else who knows of them in depth/ at all. sure, MTV2 gives them attention but why not? anyway, yeah, they shouldnt be mentioned here. a band i find very much underrated is the 22/20s. not body gives them a mention at all.

you're right, here's my list of underrated banRAB (according to your criteria):

Nickelback
Blink 182
Sum 41
Daughtry
Miley Cyrus
Simple Plan

hmm...im not sure where you can find bronx songs. I bought there album at a concert. I would try soul seek (file sharing program) as they usually have some pretty rare **** on there. Good songs are: false alarm, heart attack american, white tar, i got chills, notice of eviction.

Move here, Mr. Bungle was played on the radio station I listen to just this morning!

Where I live, Mr. Bungle, Porcupine Tree and Opeth are far from underrated. In fact they're all pretty huge and get loaRAB of recognition and sometimes airplay from a certain radio station that I'm pretty fond of.

A band that I think are highly underrated are Australian band Karnivool. Originally a local band who I saw at a tiny bar a few years ago and had drinks with them afterwarRAB, they are now pretty huge in Australia selling out huge shows in a matter of minutes. They've brought out two albums, both amazing in my opinion, and have worked so unbelievably hard yet still have absolutely no recognition outside Australia. In fact, I doubt anyone has ever heard of them. Which goes to show that no matter how talented or go-getting an Australian artist is, it's basically impossible for them to 'make it' unless they choose to move to the US or the UK permanently, which sucks if you ask me.

In fact I think there are tons of awesome Australian artists that are highly underrated.

Any band that was formed after a popular band broke up and re-grouped with different people and didn't hit the same success. They'll always be compared to their old band, even if it isn't a fair comparison.

For example: Wings after The Beatles, fIREHOSE after Minutemen, Spinnerette after The Distillers, Jawbox after Government Issue.
