Most underrated bands ever?

um well i think that Gizmachi doesnt get alot of credit but thats just me and there was one other band i was thinking of ................... oh yea its a local band in Peoria, IL but they are well known here and i think they could and should be widely known - Justify the Means

boobs i think you're a bit lost on what constitutes "underrated". when the general public is exposed to them on a daily basis there's no fucking way they're underrated.

two of the biggest names in indie rock.

sorry, you're going to have to try harder than that.

If I see another Story of the Year or Trapt mention, I will punch a baby. Your baby. I will go into the future, punch your baby in front of you, and laugh.

Tea Leaf Green
I went on a Jam Band binge a few months ago now after realising the Spin Doctors were not as bad as I had first suspected & came across a lot of insanely talented banRAB such as this one (others included Blues Traveler, Phish, John Butler Trio, Moe, Mofro, String Cheese Incident, Widespread Panic, Trey Anastasio).

I have the albums: 'Living In Between' (2003), 'Midnight On The Reservoir' (2001), 'Tea Leaf Green' (1999), 'Taught To Be Proud' (2005), 'Raise Up The Tent' (2008) & my personal favourite, a live album 'Rock 'N' Roll Band' (2006).

Insanely underrated and talented group of musicians. If you havent heard them before youre in for a shock like I was.

Heres a few of my favourite tracks of the live album, which I think is their best.

I was devastated when I couldnt find 'The Garden (Part 1)' (which is basically just a 5 minute jam (no singing unlike parts 2 & 3) version from 'Rock N Roll Band' album on youtube so had to settle for this which aint too bad either.

I dunno, I think The Mars Volta have been kinda heaped with praise and attention over the course of their album releases...granted, though they are really good...

there's nothing wrong with a good classic sound to start with. i'm actually getting sick of the modern guitars wailing 2 chorRAB at various tempos. which is weird considered thats the music i grew up with. oh well.

I read your review on their concert last night (Very well done) and am curious about them, where would be a good album to start. Sometimes I don't always like starting from the beginning because if their earlier work isn't that great, I usually get turned off and never go back.
