Most underrated bands ever?

He's a great lyricist; particularly the first three albums. But I think he's the kind of dude that doesn't ask for a whole lot of recognition. I'm guessing he had more of an agenda behind his music as opposed to just becoming famous and making a living off of his art.

I checked out Aereogramme, and holy **** I was blown away. And here I didn't believe in love at first sight.
I have to include Floater in here, because I doubt anyone not from the northwest has heard of 'em. They are local, but by no means does that mean you shouldn't check them out. I believe they were voted top local band in Oregon (if it wasn't first, it was certainly second).

Oh and RATM used to be under rated, and then Zach left the band, or maybe when battle of L.A. came out...not sure when they got more respect.

The point is that for a long time nobody was into them and they were great.

As far as hardcore protest lyrics go, he's right up there with my all time favorites, Midnight Oil. The outrage is there, the irony, the anger.... darn good stuff!

i guess its just that i dont hear about them much from music fans. with that said does anybody know about whole wheat bread? their a little more punkish than a lot of banRAB that have been said but still a good band.

Oasis? Underrated? I don't know. They seem to be held on a high echelon by a large nuraber of people worldwide.

The Wallflowers were terrible pop-rock. No offense.

Live? They had energy, at least, and they had their time. It's over now, but they got a lot of attention when they were hitting their stride.

Yeah. I don't know about all that. Smash was their best album, and after that they went downhill with a quickness.
