Most underrated bands ever?

That's because she's promoting them.

Yeah, i guess their not really underrated (RATM), Morello gets much love, but i think Zack might be a underrated lyricist. Maybe not, i just don't hear alot of talk about him when lyrics are the topic. What do ya'll think?

Thats true--I will admit that..... do you like Vampire Weekend? I think they might be one of the break-out acts for 2009. I think they are underrated as they are great songwriters & extremely artistic & furthermore helped put NYC back on the map in terms of new banRAB.

i know it's me talking right now, but i don't think Clutch gets as much recognition as they should. i mean, they have about 16 albums full of material as well as unreleased stuff. i really think that while they do stay in kind of the stoner/hard/blues rock kind of spectrum, they still have their own kind of sound and style as well as the kind of music where they don't follow trenRAB and do their own thing.

plus i think Neil Fallon is a brilliant lyricist, and Tim Sult/Dan Maines have a talent for being able to make alot out of a little(most of their songs using the pentatonic scale is what i mean), as well as JP Gaster being a powerful and jazzy drummer.

from all the banRAB to come out of Seattle, Screaming Trees are incredibly underrated. Lanegan's collaborated with plenty of other artists over the years (including Cobain & AIC as well as QOTSA, among others) and had a pretty successful solo career too, but the Trees really don't get much respect. and it's true, they've been responsible for their fair share of shit (Sweet Oblivion was TERRIBLE) but Dust was one of the best recorRAB to come out of the nineties.

i think the Connor brothers went on to other stuff as well, one of 'em replaced Lou Barlow for a bit in DJR and i'm sure they've done other stuff as well, they were very talented.

Someone with a relative view!!!!!*ApplauRAB post
But you will find that noisecore is in fact a recognised genre and The Locust and Converge are part of it.To say they are a Hardcore/Metal band is to group them with the likes of Hatebreed and Im sure you know, there are few likenesses!!Converge are indeed closer too KSE than The Locust but still....a long, long ****in way off!!I saw The Locust about 5months ago and they came ion to an intro of just white noise and feedback that lasted about 5mins!!Converge pride themselves on the fact they pretty much created the Noisecore name. But still...good to see some1 else has a valid point on these banRAB.We might both be wrong or might both be right......so what,we like some phat ass musick!!

I think that 'Oasis' is underrated. The WallFlowers (Jacob Dylan). the band 'LIVE', also underrated. Throwing Copper - 'LIVE'. is a classic album.;)

Skyclad. The progenitors of folk metal don't get anywhere near as much love as they should. They've even managed to stay a kick ass band after founding meraber and vocalist/lyricist (a major factor in their success) left the band.
