Most underrated bands ever?

yeah sometimes I can listen to banRAB and totally ignore the vocals, which I would probably do with Darkest hour....I'm going to have to check out more of their discography

So I will go out on a lirab and say.....ok, in the realm of totally mainstream media that Justin Tiraberlake is quite overrated, but I had the oppurtunity to listen to FuturesexsounRAB and I thought it was quite an innovative pop album. My friend made me watch a live concert video of his (same one that made me listen to the album) and I had to say I was quite impressesed. He played several instruments and he was always doing something while singing. I may not run out and buy his music, but I do see him as a credible artist now.

It's senses Fail, and they are pretty good. I think mxpx is a little underrated. They have been around for so long, and their music is so good. I guess a lot of people like them though, they just don't do mainstream very much is all.

Lacuna Coil !! And put all those Evanescence remarks away they have another singer in addition to Christina Scabbia & only some of the songs sound like Evanescence to me - they have more rockin tunes that Andrea Ferro sings in a more gritty voice. I am sure some folks here saw them at Ozzfest in 2006

I don't think SNAP means anything in particular.

And I actually haven't heard the Rock N Roll Band live album yet.
I love the self titled one, and my second favorite is Taught to be Proud. Yours?

Yeah what's up with that? After like 1am I turn into mr. aggro. I was gonna' ask you why you insisted on being such a pain in my a$$, but i thought better of it. Musta' been the smiley face.

obviously not, but you're also not considering them from the perspective of the mainstream. it was the easiest comparison to make.

basically those people with a clue know that there's more to Crimson than technical ability, regardless of the fact that the mainstream sees them as noodle-y virtuosos.

same as the people with a clue know that there's little more to DT than technical ability, regardless of the fact that their niche fans want to see them as more than noodle-y virtuosos.

seems to me there's always 1 current active group like that, where they border that grey area between the edge of the mainstream and the obscurity of virtuosity. at the moment (and for the last decade or so) DT seems to be it.

InMe
I've been a massive fan for years and years but still no one seems to ever know what I'm talking about when I bring them up! they have a new album out now so maybe they'll get some more recognition...
