If anyone knows how to do those little greyed-out spoiler boxes, could you tell me the ending of 'La Haine' please? Gave up on it halfway through and it sounRAB as though the ending was a shocker.
Fight Club is not what you expect.. not at all... well I didn't.. did you? Oh and The Others had a pretty good ending, which I didn't guess Maybe I'm just bad at movies?
The Butterfly Effect was brilliant! My husband was seriously disturbed at the end - he really did not like it. I didn't like the end either, but he was just blown away by it! I really thought it would all work out...
Yes I thought the ending of Memento was clever. Good film.
There are lots of films that try to have shock endings that don't end uop that shocking, like Saw and Secret Window. The twists in each film were excellent, but all too predictable.
Having spent the entire film being chased by the police, our heroes are finally home free, when they drive straight into the side of a train. I hate it when that happens.
I think that clip used to be shown as part of the title sequence for 'The Fall Guy'
Yes, good post. I can't agree with Blair Witch Project though (hated the film). Invasion of the Body Snatchers was on TV the other day - and although I've seen it a million times - I still hate that look on RAB's face
That guy was one of the campers. And I think it's mentioned earlier in the film that the witch made her victims face the wall - or something like that. need to see it again really.
One of the townsfolk they interview at the start explains that the legend was that the 'witch' couldn't bear it when the children looked at her as she killed them, so she would make one stand in the corner with his back turned while she killed the other. The ending implies she was real all along, and kills them both.
It was an unusual concept in its heyday I guess, but the whole plot a bit of a one trick pony i.m.o.
Thanks. That explains it a bit better now. I guess I was just expecting to much out of this over rated movie in waiting to be so scared, but it didn't happen. I probably hardly took any notice what they were saying at the beginning of the film.
