Loyd I think im Kinda Thirsty.....

REDRUM REDRUM REDRUM.......

The shineing has to be the all greatest classic horror of all time.....Even now it still scares the bejaysus out of me..!

I remember being seriously scared by that one in my early teens.

I was watching it in bed late at night and my mum was watching it downstairs. At one point I got so spooked that I went running downstairs only to meet her coming the other way just as terrified as I was!

They don't make 'em like that anymore :)

Where's today's spooky drama? Where's the modern take on Armchair Thriller, Hammer House of Horror, even early episodes of Tales of the Unexpected?

I remember being fairly frequently freaked out as a child and I loved it.

Not really a fan of the horror gene but the first Saw film gave me nightmares. I've watched all three of them now and become completely desensitized to them, though. :D

Never did find The Shining scary, just slightly sinister, as was the original Omen and Hallowe'en. I wasn't really terribly phased by The Exorcist either, although the part where Regan came downstairs backwarRAB on her hanRAB and feet was a bit freaky.

With reference to a post above, can someone remind me what they saw when Regan went for the brain scan?

The Exorcist is probably the main one for me. However I thought The Shining was pritty freaky, with all the different ghosts, especially the twins!! :D

The Grudge is another one, its all those creepy noises that makes me lose it when I'm watching that...LOL

I remember this one too! After a LOT of searching on the internet I found it. It's called "Trilogy of Terror", and it was made in 1975, written by Richard Matheson. It was allegedly made as a pilot for a TV series which never happened. (In America it was also called "Tales of Terror" and "Terror of the Doll")
It's available on Amazon.co.uk for

I can't remember the name of the scariest movie I've ever seen but if someone can give me some help would be really nice, it's an 80's movie about vodoo and zombies. And in one of the scenes the rooms turns into a a coffin, in another one the guy is buried alive because he took some sort of potion and to everyone he looks death...

It's was reallty really scary at the time at least but i can't remember the name...
