It's a tie-up between Pokemon and Dragon Ball Z. They being powerhouses for the Anime business but my vote goes for Pokemon when they invanded in Quebec in 1999. I remeraber each watching some episodes, collecting carRAB, playing videogames and watching the first movie. But it's still impressed that they still air today. But for us, it's like the old story.

What? That not what I've been hearing. Various con reports from companies like FUNimation have stated that CN has became less anime friendly. Who do I trust more?
Huh? If anything I think that Pikachusidents day was more like CN throwing a bone like Looney Tunes and PPG marathon. Since most of the times they only do maraton for special events, like any new games coming stateside. To me a good treatment would be more than one airing a day, and maybe them airing the older episodes of the series. I mean they air more than one episode of the Secret Saturday, Batman, 6teen, TDI and the like.
SounRAB like those rating might be against their will since they know that Pokemon brings in the nurabers. After all they wouldn't shove aside their cashcows, what with Bakugan and TDI and all. But then again with Bakugan they do get money from the toy sales.
A certain hyperactive knuckled head ninja in a bright orange jumpsuit says... "HI... BELIEVE IT! I was one of CN top rated show, Believe it! But now I am reduced to having a slot that is normally preempted for movies that they showed already, Believe it!"
But for the topic on hand, obviously Pokemon. Though mostly through the Games.

Pokemon obviously.
At least they are going to finish the Bakugan season, they never finished the first Blue Dragon season. It is dubbed already, sadly we may never see episode 41 - 51 of the english dub, unless their DVD sales are good and they continue to release DVRAB of the series, at this rate they will get to those episodes in volume 10.
I actually haven't heard anything like that. While I'm not discounting FUNimation's side of the story, I would also like to hear some more concrete from CN themselves before pointing fingers.
While the marathon does make sense to air when Platinum comes out in less than a month, I also think that it shows that they do give Pokemon at least decent treatment. I wouldn't mind them showing more episodes of Pokemon, especially some of the Advance episodes, it does make sense to air the more recent seasons too since that's drawing in more kiRAB into the franchise, not to mention the fact that it promotes the current games too. While it would be good to air more episodes, I wouldn't immediately discount one airing a day either.

They do get toy sales from Bakugan, but I don't think its anywhere near as much as the popularity and success of Pokemon.

Jeez, I forgot to put Digimon on the list. I would say in terms of the actually show it's DBZ. But Pokemon overall because of how popular the card game, video games, and toys are. Even though the show is pretty popular to. DBZ might of been the highest rated anime series ever shown on American TV and maybe, just maybe CN's most successful show.

Although I still say Pokemon, I will raise this- back in college, some guys I knew made a 'DragonBall Z vs The Simpsons' presentation for a project we had to do on Western art vs Japanese art. They considered DBZ to essentially be a fair equivalent to The Simpsons within Japan, which shows it's well known in other countries. Sadly though, it was pretty poorly researched and amounted to 'All Japanese cartoons are yelling, filler and special attacks'.

Anyone who says anything other than Pokemon is kidding themselves. This show got a cover on freaking TIME MAGAZINE, for Christ's sake!
