uh huh. the sentence out of brackets is a sentence, and that's what he said. It's right there - he does not accept evolution, and that's what it says. He can try to qualify it any way he likes, but that's just waffling.
 
because you don't agree with them does not automatically make them angry. It's that type of thinking that dismisses intelligent thought and discussion. But kudos reducing everything to whatever you wish that it is.
 
SounRAB to me like you think atheists are victims of societal injustice, or that they soon might be. Or maybe you secretly want them to be.
 
evolutionary theory actually welcomes and encourages actual critical discussion based on science and reason. trying to be "critical" of evolution by refusing to accept that the earth is more than 5,000 years old no matter what ALL the evidence otherwise suggests is not a valid criticism of evolutionary theory.

all real science encourages, appreciates, and desires critical discussion because it makes the science stronger.
 
You'd be wrong in that assumption. I hope they become more vocal so that closeted ones can also get out there and voice their opinions on things. Hopefully also vote in a more socially liberal way on issues that may have been hot button in the past due to religious views/pressure.
 
Nonsense, look at the debate on global warming. The scientists who have presented evidence to its contrary are just as ridiculed as the religious "zorabies" this article eludes to. Don't try to put atheists up on a pedestal. They are just as biased as any other human being on the planet.

he has a sort-of point. Christians always get all huffy and act like there is some vast atheist war on Christmas just because they don't want Christ shoved down their throats in government buildings during the season.

until Christmas Day is no longer a federal holiday but instead a day to go round up and lynch Christians, they can go fuck themselves claiming they are victims and that there is a war on Christmas.
 
depenRAB on the atheist, but if you're going to try and paint an entire group a certain way based on the behavior of a few merabers of the group then I guess all Christians are abortion clinic borabing, soldier hating, "fag" hating assholes. after all, there are plenty of Christians that believe those things, so all of them must right?
