You ignore my sane worRAB, so I thought a little arm-waving radicalism would elicit a response. That you responded only provides further evidence of your nature, and the nature of this post.
Obama is a meraber of the "religious left". They are just as willfully ignorant as the religious right, but, strangely, I don't see the militant atheists getting all riled up over them. Why not? Corabine religious ferver with a Big Government complex, and what do you have? Oh yes, G W Bush called it "compassionate conservatism". Of which it was neither. Merely communism in disguise. God says to give freely, so I'm gonna take from YOU and give to YOU. Yay, look at how good I am!
 
I agree with all of that. I'd only like to add that I've encountered many more hateful atheists intent on converting non believers than I have Christians.
 
The argument isn't about whether evolution is correct or not. My original point was that atheists are vehemently resistant to criticism of it, much like Catholics are of Christianity. If you try to debate it you're immediately called a idiot, zorabie, take your pick. There is no discussion with most of those people, just like there is no discussion with most religious individuals.
 
Most people are religious everywhere. That doesn't mean we persecute and ridicule people to the point where they have to have underground atheist meetings

He is on record as saying the not only believes in God, but that he created the universe (not the Big Bang or abiogenesis) in 6 days. Granted he gives himself an out by saying the doesn't think they are 24 hour days, but still.

there is proof of evolution. no one is resistant to actually showing proof to the contrary. You are just making shit up. Religion has no proof, and never will. If there was proof and it could be tested, it is up for scientific debate. Calling Religion bunk is stemming from reading their info, knowing there is no proof, and calling them out on it.
