What moment made you really feel great, that was wonderful, in a full length animated movie?.

You know, that moment that you know everything was ok, that you walk out of the theater feeling like this film is your favorite. You just feel great, and you are so happy that you have seen this film..
.. We all know that moment. I have two moments in two great films.

l. In Beauty and the Beast.. where the beast regains life.. Very special for me. What a wonderful, warm, happy feeling.

2.The last 30 seconds of The Iron Giant.

List your favorite moments in full length animation. ..As many as you like...thank you...

When Marge and Homer kissed near the end of The Simpsons Movie, it gave me a strange feeling I never experienced before when I watch The Simpsons

While this isnt a cartoon per se, it is a videogame feeaturing animated characters.

The ending of Kingdom Hearts 2. I feel a little immature liking this series at my age, but oh well. The scene at the end where Sora and Riku got back home was great, considering they had spent about 3 games (KH1, KH:CoM, KH2) trying to get home. I didnt expect Riku to make it back, I figured he was going to be the villain of the series, forever bound in the darkness, so that was a pleasant suprise to see him on the good side again.

And the part with Roxas and Namine was heartwarming, albeit a little sad.

Although I thought it was a little much to see Donald and Goofy crying with that girly romantic music playing in the background. A bit out of character.

The opening credits of Shrek 2 was nice, The "Friend in Me" and "Prince Ali" songs in Aladdin were fun and comedic too.

I like this thread. This is a nice opposite to the "most disturbing.chilling scenes" thread.

About halfway through Batman: Mask of the Phantasm when I started to realize that it was better than the Tim Burton Batman films (which I loved).

When Rose on American Dragon:Jake Long in the episode Homecoming showed up at the end and Jake knew his wish to save her life came true.

When Snow White is awakened by her prince and rides off with him to the castle. I know, it sounds corny as heck, but in the film...it isn't. After seeing the well-handled grief of the Dwarves at her apparent death, that last scene comes off as the greatest resurrection since Easter morning. :D

Hey,I'm almost 29 (turn on Monday June 23),and it's one of my favorite video game series (I've loved Disney animation my whole life, and see no point in stopping now)....
Anyway,I agree with you...I loved the ending of Kingdom Hearts 2,when Sora and Riku are reunited with Kairi....The three of them have been through alot, and now they're finally home and together again....
...and the final scene with Roxas and Namine together was sweet....I like that they're holding hands, and happy that they can be together,as long as Sora and Kairi are...

Other "Happy" scenes I like....

The Last Unicorn....The scene where Unicorn finally fights back against the Red Bull, and all the other unicorns come out of the sea, free to roam once again...
...and when Unicorn revives Prince Lir,who fell trying to stop the Red Bull...happy,though a bit bittersweet (she still loves him,but they can't be together, since she's no longer human)...

The Nightmare Before Christmas....Jack and Sally singing to each other at the hilltop at film's end (I think it's one of the most romantic Disney endings...I also love the scene where Jack finally realizes how much Sally loves him)

Beauty and the Beast...The scene where Belle confesses that she loves the Beast just before the last rose petal falls....I love the transformations of not only the Beast and his servants, but the castle and its surroundings as well...

The Lion King....The scene where Simba takes over as the new king...it's just a really powerful scene (in music and animation....I think what makes it even better is that, aside from Rafiki saying "It is time",none of the characters talk)....

The scene from Spirited Away where Chihiro helps Haku remember what type of spirit he was. At that point his dragon skin disintegrates . Between the animation, music and the story itself, I felt an extreme sense of satisfaction and happiness. It's my favourite in all animation.

The last minute or so in Land Before Time. Where our team of travelers makes it to their destination and is reunited with their families is one that I left out in my original list. If you haven't seen this one, I think you will enjoy it. It was Don Bluth's first big hit has a director.

The "house raising" scene from The Secret of NIMH, where Mrs. Brisby taps into the power of the Stone to raise her house from underneath the mud, move it to the safe area in the lee of the stone, and safe her children. Pure Awesomeness.

Oh my goodness me too! That part brings tears to my eyes. It's so moving. That, and when Mulan is deciding to take her father's place in the army. That background music gives me goosebumps :D

The ending of All Dogs Go To Heaven when Charlie has to go back to heaven.

The end of The Secret of NIMH. Where Brisby used the mystical
stone to lift the house out of the mud.

The Genie's song in Aladdin. Robin Williams is the best!

I've always loved that scene.

another one for me is in the Jungle Book, you start to think that Baloo has really died fighting Sher Khan and then as Bagera gives his speech you see him start to move around that has alway made me very happy inside when I see it.

Oh, my lord, there are a lot of them.

The Lion King - The entire 'King of Pride Rock' sequence. It makes me feel like I'm THERE, in the rain. Why I'm not running from several surely-starving lions I'm not sure, heh. :)

The Little Mermaid - 'I love you, Daddy'. I'm a huge Daddy's girl, so that's probably why. :)

Iron Giant - You guys know why. Shouldn't have to explain it.

Aladdin - 'A Whole New World' is just one of the best, most wonderfully 'choreographed' scenes. EVER.

One would be defiantly from the Little Mermaid when at the end, Ariel is looking longingly at Eric from a rock, knowing she could never be with him, and then King Triton sees the human differently and takes the courage to let her go and changes her back to a human so she can be with him. Her face when she changes is tear-jearking!
