Most Forgotten Animated Film.

When I was watching the Nostalgic Critic one day, he reviewed a video game (pretending he was the Angry Video Game Nerd) that was once a animated film.

Also know as Bebe's kids.

Mainly when I read about it (and saw the trailer which was terrible),it's basically forgotten. I wonder, did any of you people seen this movie before?

I don't remember The Nutcracker Prince, although the title sounds familiar and I might remember it if I saw pictures, but I definitely recall the other two movies. I saw a couple of trailers for Adam Sandler's Eight Crazy Nights and I see The Polar Express every year during Christmas time. It's fun and enjoyable movie. I don't see how those last two movies could be forgettable considering how they have aired on TV in recent years.

What about these?:

The American Rabbit

Mark Twain (Claymation)

Cat City

Bravestarr Movie

Alvin and the Chipmunks movie (1980s)

Raggedy Anne and the pirates

Tubby The Tuba

Animalympics

How in the heck is that forgotten? Doesn't it come on ABC Family every year and I think it is currently the highest grossing non Disney/Pixar/Dreamworks animated film.

Actually I did wonder about including that. I guess I was going along with the Christmas theme.

I've never seen "Mighty Mouse In The Great Space Chase", myself. "Heathcliff the Movie" however, was a waste. If anyone doesn't remember that, it's only TV episodes mashed up together.

I recall The Nutcracker Prince, vaguely.

And because I don't remember seeing this one mentioned before (or else I'm just blind): does anyone remember The Princess and the Goblin?

I saw it many years ago on pay-TV. But then, I had previously seen the stand-up comedy routine which inspired the movie performed by the late Robin Harris on HBO. Even back then, I didn't think Bebe's Kids would translate into a family-friendly animated feature film. It was a seven-minute stand-up routine that simply didn't lend itself to 72 minutes of animation aimed at a general family audience.

"The Great Space Chase" was an ongoing (though finite) serial that ran as a segment on The New Adventures of Mighty Mouse and Heckle & Jeckle (CBS, 1979). As far as I know, it never got a theatrical release.

I remember hearing about Heathcliff: The Movie; I considered seeing it, but then I found it was just a rehashing of a bunch of shorts from the TV show.

You mean 'The Chipmunk Adventure', though I doubt that movie's obscure thanks to the success of the current movies.

That's also an obscure one, and I remember reading that some key people from Pixar worked on that one.

Unfortunately, yes. I was bored one day so I convinced my friends to see the only somewhat interesting movie out at the time. Truly was the worst movie I've ever seen.

Way back when, a local channel where I lived at the time would air family centric movies on Sunday afternoons. One of these movies, which I was fortunate enough to catch a few times was Magic Boy. I'd first heard about it from friends at school before I stumbled on to it and I absolutely loved it. I didn't remember anything exact about it except that it was distributed by MGM, so I figured it must have had some kind of theatrical run. When I remembered it not too long ago and decided to look it up, I found out that it was one of the first anime movies to make it stateside. Maybe I'm looking in the right places or it's due to age but it's not a movie that I ever heard of again beforeI decided to find out about it on my own. We must have rented that thing half a dozen times when I was a kid. It came with an Itsy Bitsy Spider short that was developed into a series on USA. It was one of those misfit 90s animated movies that I loved as a kid
but it would be interesting to see how it holds up today (Tone Loc as a stinky, neglected baby probably won't be as funny now). I remember my grandma not liking that I watched it because of questionable content (I think it may have been PG-13). It sure was one heck of an odd choice for an animated movie though. Robin Harris wasn't exactly a well known guy among kids; The only reason I knew him was because he was the dad in House Party. It seemed a lot better suited for a live-action romantic comedy though I can't imagine Harris being casted in his own movie if it was. He was probably dead by the time the movie was completed though.

Oh yeah, I remember that movie. I watched recently and found the animation decent. It was by no means Disney-worthy, but it wasn't unbearible either.

Yeah, Dinosaur really disappointed me. The first teaser was just dinosaurs in a dinosaur environment, nothing with the actual characters in the movie. I was a dinosaur addict at the time, so it amazed me to see in theaters. The end movie annoyed me with weak characters and bad writing, but I will always remember that incredible teaser. Here it is if you want to see it. For me, it's nostalgia on overdrive. At the very least, the visuals were goof, although looking at it now, it looks like they filmed real locations and CGIed dinosaurs in them.
