Most Fantastic Death In A Horror Movie

I'm surprised that you're surprised!

Any self-respecting horror fan should have at least three Dario Argento movies in their DVD collection.

Dunno how I forgot the legendary Omen deaths - considering it's my favourite horror flick! The same goes for the 'chest-busting' scene from Alien.

Thought of a few more:

All the deaths in Kill Bill and Braindead

The splinter-in-the-eye scene from Zombie Flesh Eaters

The demise of the buxom [nightclub] gal in Brain Damage...

The syringe in the eye & acid-melting from Dead and Buried

Hi,

What do u reckon is the most fantastic death in any Horror movie?

My ones are Tinas death in Nightmare On Elm Street 1 and Sarah Michelle Geller in Scream 2.

The unknown man at the start of Irreversible.

Any of the deaths in Cube were quite shocking.

As were the deaths in Saw.

Jacks death in American Werewolf in London was shocking when I was a kid.

Does Kichizo Ishida in Ai no Corrida count as shocking?

You mean the end of Irreversible :D

Probably the most shocking [and realistic] death goin'.

I'm trying to think of the Ai No Corrida scene. Was he:

strangled whilst having sex?

Maybe slightly more eclectic than horror, but anyway:

The hanging from Suspiria.

The death-by-over-eating scene from Monty Python's: The Meaning of Life. "A last mint?"

The heart-attack scene from Clerks, you all know the one i mean!

The excellent fight in Grosse Point Blank, that enRAB in death by means of a complimentary-pen.

Not a death, but the next best thing...

'The Brides' genius treatment of Elle Driver in Kill Bill 2 - poetic-justice personified!

Irreversible - you're completely right! One of the few death scenes that actually affected me.

Ai No Corrida -
Yes. She then castrated him and carried his genitals around with her, as you do in those circumstances!
:D
