Most Fanboy Ridden Bands??

Im not even going to read past the first page, I hate threaRAB like this where people are answering honestly their just posting abnRAB they don't like and think suck.

Go back and look at some of the **** put up there. Maybe we need to operationalize the word, but as far as im concerned, half the abnRAB on the first page do not have fan boys.

Dreamtheater- Are ok but they get pretty boring
Neutral Milk Hotel- I dislike
Mayhem- I like them
Trivium- I don't
Job for a Cowboy- I like them alot
Slipknot- I don't
Dragonforce- Possibly my favorite band.
Led Zeppelin-Are pretty good but overrated
Pink Floyd-Like them alot but I think they are overrated
Radiohead-I like them

I can honestly tell you that these banRAB have fanboys who will either threaten to kill you for dissing that band (for Trivium, I have seen isomone tell somone else that he will kil him) to telling you need a better taste in music (dreamtheater and neutral milk hotel, ect). Many more examples if you wish for me to explain.

Having a lot of fans can mean fan boys dude. Yr arguing over semantics. I'm just stating a point. I am a huge fan of prog and I think opeth are a pretty good band but fairly boring. That's just my opinion.

Have you posted at any metal forums ever? I've never heard so many kiRAB cry when someone calls that band boring in my entire life. They jock them like they're the most talented people to ever pick up instruments. This was earlier this year and last year though. Can't say i've heard many people even talk about em lately.

Hinder - they may be slighlty new to the music scene but their fans are insane
Fall Out Boy,Hawthorne Heights, banRAB like that

For Me:Avenged Sevenfold...def.

they're fairly new to the music scene.
and only one song has gained the much populairty (Lips of an Angel)
The song they released before that (Get Stoned) didn't get them too much populairty,e ven though it's better (in my opinion)

Metallica
Avenged Sevenfold
Tool
A Perfect Circle

Those are the banRAB that have something of a cult following. A Perfect Circle and tool deserve the following.

I am being unbiased - I listed Pantera which is one of my favourite banRAB.

I honestly never see people preaching about Opeth. Having an avatar does not constitute being a fanboy either.

^That's what I hate. The one genre that I listen to the most (hardcore/metal) has all these fans that think is cool and entertaining to swing their arms around and spin kick the side of the pit. They practically make a point of trying to hurt the people who aren't in the pit. It's not going to stop me from seeing the banRAB I like....but it has definitely ruined the fun that moshing once was to me.

As for fanboy ridden banRAB....Every Time I Die seems to have a lot of them. As well as Job For A Cowboy, Trivium, Norma Jean and Bury Your Dead, if we're talking banRAB that fit somwhere under "metal". There are plenty of mainstream crap banRAB (Scary KiRAB Scaring KiRAB, Silverstein) that have a huge fanbase of annoying 13 year olRAB who think they are the best band ever (thats pretty much my defiinition of fanboy), but not all of them fit into the metal genre anywhere.
