Most DURABLE phone?

Nextel stinks in every area, but that's the be-all end-all when it comes to durability. I've seen dudes bounce that thing off the wall like it was a tennis ball and it keeps on truckin'.

Nextel: i580, i325

GSM: nokia 5500 sport, vertu ascent motorsports edition, nokia 5140i, Siemens M65

CDMA: Sanyo 7050 (sprint), Casio GZone (verizon)

CDMA/IDEN hybrid: ic502, ic602

Windows Mobile (GSM or CDMA): Symbol MC70

The most durable phone will one that he buys with money he earns. As long as you are giving him one for free, it will be broken.

Nokia 5410i. They blew it up on gadget show and what not(still worked) :)
Other than that pretty much anything before or just when the first colour screens started to apear to the norm phones are okish with that.

My Sanyo 7500 (sprint) has been to hell and back and still does what I need it to do... Had the same one for a year and a half... (haven't found anything thats blown my skirt up to replace it with yet!)

Yeah, it does... and it's walkie-talkie capable. Although I don't know anyone on VZ who has push to talk.

The most durable phone I've ever had though was the Motorola i455 from Boost Mobile... I still have it somewhere, but I have no use for it.

If you want a phone that can take a beating the I vote for the Nextel Motorola i700.

It is ugly but man are they tough. I once left mine sitting on top of a piece of heavy equipment that we were transporting on the interstate. It fell off once we hit 60 mph. I pulled over, picked up the pieces (there were more than a few) put it back together, and it worked perfectly. I also ran over it with a bulldozer (just a small one) once. After I dug it out of the ground and dusted it off it was fine. Unfortunately I eventually accidentally buried it on a job site near Vincennes, IN several years ago. I knew where it was but it was too deep to dig up. I bet it would still work if I were to go get it.

If you want to do a little digging for a free phone just let me know and I will give you directions.

get the gzone boulder, i got my dads as a hand me down because we ran it over with our f250 super duty diesel a few times on accident and all that happened was allitle chip on the front, and my dad was really bad with dropping it for the few months he had it, he only got a new one bc someone at his office gave him the nice silver one for free so he gave me the orange one

my dad had one of those and it fell down an elivator shaft on a building he was working on in ny from the top floor , then the elevator came down on top of it and the only thing that broke was the battery door clip thing broke off and it was still fine

I had a Samsung SCH-A650 that I dropped so many times (with no damage aside from external scratches) that I would drop it from shoulder height just to show that it could take it.
