Most disturbing scenes in a movie.

That was just disturbing because of how crap it was. But yeah it was heavy. I believe one of the lead actresses in the film was raped in real life but the courts said something like what do you expect when you are a porn star... something like that. And the other lead woman in the film killed herself in real life.

The WickerMan is a scottish classic! One of the best films ever made. Oh i can do so many quotes from it. Would you like me to recite some lines? :p

Karen (I would) Lancoume was the one who committed suicide, bad the judges came out with that regarding the rape.
Caused some uproar on the release I believe in a normally liberal France.

The scene in House of 1000 corpses where they cut the guy with scissors.

I also hate that scene in Hostel 1 where the guys ankle tendons are cut.

Two films have succeeded in rendering me very disturbed, and I've seen a lot of disturbing films including RFAD, Hostel etc.

1. Hannibal - the brain eating scene.
2. Amistad - not a great film but I hate the scene where people are thrown alive off the boat with weights attached to them.

well some one already mentioned the entity but the graphic sequences of her spirit rape were pretty grim and defintley disturbing

the ending of the cook, the thief, his wife and her lover

excorcist is unsettling , specificially the crucifx scene but in general, that voice

the ending of the original wicker man

angel heart- chicken sequence along with the sex scene- just freaky

What? You mean the last twenty minutes of the movie? I think the OP was talking about one particular scene, not a fifth of the film.

I hate that bit in Dracula where he is a vampire. Oh, I forgot, that's all of it...

The main 'aftermath' scene in Man Bites Dog is perfectly set up to be as disturbing as possible, not only because of what you're seeing, but because you realise the film has dragged YOU into liking the main character (as he does the film crew) and then it turns things 180 degrees again in one scene.

Brilliant film.

So many to choose from - but the one I still have the shivers thinking about is the bit in "American History X" when the thug forces the black guy to open his mouth at the edge of the pavement, then kicks the back of his head in. Just DISGUSTING!

'The Exorcist' has always scared me.Especially the head turning
The omen(first one) dont know why but it did lol.The little boy just creeped me out.
Hannibal - when he eats the brain
