Most difficult to find bands?

Alright all you music elitist! Lol, what in your opinion are some of the most difficult to find banRAB? Whether it be to download on the internet, or albums to buy or even to find lyrics for them; just in general some of the rarest banRAB to have access to!

I'll start it off:

The fall of boss koala- i have found only one song from them! :( And nothing more!

Also, instead of us just stating banRAB, it would also be nice if we could help each other out in finding them! :D

You don't trust filestube? It's basically just a download search engine that mostly redirects you to mediafire and megaupload, I use it all the time, but to each his own I guess!

The Celibate Rifles spring to mind. I got a few of their albums imported my way a few years ago and they're painfully hard to find otherwise. There was virtually nothing of them online when I last checked either. I'd imagine they're more readily available in their native Australia though.

^ DepenRAB if you know exactly which albums you're looking for. It was a while ago, but I do remeraber finding a few The The and Talk Talk albums with minimal fuss. Putting 'kbps' next to the album you're looking for on googleblogs often works better too.

Only just spotted this. Thanks for this, all I've gotta do is wrap my head around torrents now :D

until about a month ago there were no mastered recordings of Harrison Bergeron anywhere on the Internet. Thanks to John Galm for upping them, now a select few have it.

Iwanu Ga Hana has nothing on the web, they're probably the most elusive band I know of.

I've already seen that and I don't trust it as far as I could throw it... and it's virtual so I can't throw it.
Definitely thanks for trying though, appreciate it.

i know the banRAB themselves aren't obscure. having to run searches for them in the days before well organized torrent sites WAS nearly impossible. all the obscure groups would show up immediately if there were any matches. searching for either of those banRAB would have returned pretty much everything on the server.

i have an ongoing challenge to people who think they can find any music out there though. only one person has come close and i'm still without mp3s. i'm looking for the opening act from a Grand Funk Railroad concert in Tokyo from the early 70s (thinking osaka stadium in 1971). the bootleg exists, my old man had it. HAD it. the band is called Mashmakhan, canadian psychedelic rock with a hint of prog.

consider the gauntlet thrown

Rosina de Peira. Probably the greatest occitan folk singer ever, her new cd was at about 1000 copies back in 2003. Been looking to get at least "one" album by her.

that's definitely GFR but i'm looking for the other band from the bill that day heheh. THAT is the challenge ;)

thanks either way hehe
