Most dangerous jobs in the army (women)?

Hiya, I am a woman, and am signing up for the army. I wanted to be in the infantry but its just for men! I like a challenge that is a hands on dangerous job; and I want to make my parents proud of me. I was thinking of joining the royal artillery as I cannot be in the infantry. I have always wanted to work with animals so was going to be a dog handler, or a veterinary technician, but I don't think their roles are what I am looking for (hands-on). I really want to be sent out to do my duty, but I need to find a job where the women are likely to be sent out. I would also like to be placed close to the front of the battlefield. Any suggestions on roles that I could do?

I believe the most dangerous MOS a female can have, and at some time might even be able to work with dogs also is the Military Police.

In many ways, they are doing the same job as the Infantry and can find themselves in the middle of a fire fight, often.
 
Hmm - you could be a dog handler in the RAF police, which probably means you would get fed better than the army as well.
Depending on your schooling and ability, you could do air traffic control, and many jobs associated with other 'teeth' arms such as artillery and armour.
 
Well being military for the past 15yrs in both Navy and now Army i would say that you need to have a serious sit down with your recruiter and find out what you are qualified to do.. You have to be qualified enough to do a certain job according to your ASVAB score..

Unfortunately woman are not that close to the front line but again see what you qualify for first..

As far as your parents being proud, well i am sure they will be very proud of you for taking the initiative and singing up on your own.. We do not do this for money it is a calling that's for sure.. A lot of people appreciate us for it and some just plain hate us for it (especially if you have been deployed like me, 2-Iraq, 2-Afghan, 1-GITMO, Cuba) but most people appreciate the sacrifice you give them and yes it is a sacrifice..
