Most Bizarre Characters Ever Created

For me, it's the Aqua Teen Hunger Force, where the heroes are a floating meatball, shake and side of fries. Who was the meatball who came up with that one?

The gang from Chowder. I love the show, but I have to admit that the characters are quite strange. To be a fly on the wall and listen in on the show's pitch session:

"OK, there's this kid who's a purple, overweight cat/bear/rabbit thing with giant nipples who eats everything in sight, and he's the apprentice chef to a blue-skinned humanoid with an upside-down Great Gonzo nose, who is married to a grumpy flying pixie with a mushroom hat, and there's also an employee who's a big rock monster whose entire vocabulary consists of only one word, 'radda'."

I can imagine that Chowder was a very hard show to sell.

K'Nuckles from Flapjack. A pirate made up of wooden body parts with a love for candy. Genius and bizarre (like the rest of the show!):flapjack:

The 80's My Little Pony. Not for the ponies themselves, but for all the demonic, evil, soulless creatures they were constantly trying to survive against.

Same with Chowder, I bet Spongebob would be hard to sell. A animated show about the adventures of an underwater sea sponge that wears pants and a bowtie, doesn't sound like it would work when you put it that way.

It was.

Cartoon Network was the first place Steven Hillenberg went to for the pitch, but they didn't buy it.

Now imagine how different history would have been if they did.

The entire cast of Flapjack, sans the title character. I'm sure anyone wouldn't oppose a series about a young sailor learning how to live at sea.

But then you start bringing up the captain he follows who is half-wooden, a local barber who's also a surgeon, and the wife of a candy salesmen, made entirely out of candy.

Yet that's why I love the show.

What about the entire cast of "Yellow Submarine"? With special mentions to The Chief Blue Meanie ("We Meanies only take no for an answer!"), Jeremy (I think that was his name, he was the odd-looking fellow with the magical powers who helped The Beatles retake Pepperland) and, of course, The Evil Flying Glove.

God, I used to love that movie.

I was going to say Chowder too, especially Shitnzel, he is one of the oddest characters I have ever come across but I love him to death. The cast from ATHF is wacked out too, I love the show but if someone came to me with the idea and plot I would probably have tossed him out of my office for coming up with a story revolving around fast food items.

Didnt The Stand originally come out in 1978? Even if its the unabridged version, that still means that it was the original draft, written long before the TMNT were even created.
