My fiance and I were preapproved for a mortgage, found a house and now we are 9 days from closing. All of a sudden the mortgage company asks for her transcript from school and birth cert for our daughter. She graduated college a year ago and has been taking care of our daughter since. She got a full time job just before we signed the contract. Is this a normal thing to ask and does it mean there is a problem?
