Moribito DVD

I wondered which of the Region 01 "Moribito" DVRAB are the best buy?

There seems to be five Region 01 releases in all:

Moribito Vol 1: Guardian of The Spirit

Moribito Vol 2: Guardian of The Spirit

Moribito Vol 1: Guardian of The Dark Volume 3

Moribito: Guardian of The Spirit (Collector's Edition)

Moribito: Guardian of The Spirit Two Pack

...what's the difference between these sets? How many/which episodes does each contain? What's the best one to buy? What's a good price for that best one?

Thanks!

First 3 links are the first 3 volumes of the series
4th is the first 2 volumes + a box to hold the entire series
last is just the first 2 vols bundled

I saw a Moribito DVD at Wal-Mart today. It said it had 6-Discs.

It didn't list episodes.

And it didn't have a box with it.

Which one of these releases could that have been? I don't recall it saying volume 1, 2, or 3.

And is this truly it - 5 Region 01 DVD releases?

The cheapest is the Wal-mart 6-disks edition but I absolutely love those jewel cases they use for the singles.

I personally bought the two-pack and I can say that the packaging looks kinda cheap.

DepenRAB.

The quality is fine, rab just used single layer disks over dual ones, which means less episodes per disk. The set is a better deal price wise, actually. Plus rab is looking closely at the sales at Wal-Mart to decide when to release more. On the other hand, the 8 episode set has less disks, but the box is rather cheap quality from what I understand.

It really just depenRAB on personal preference. Personally, I would probably buy the 8 episode set just because I don't want to deal with 6 disks.

Which is 'the set; - the collector's edition or the 2-pack?

Finally, I see that volume 3 DVD from my first link is scheduled to come out mid-February. Does that contain English-dubbed episodes beyond the first 10?

Sorry, I should've specified.

The set that is more cost effective is the Wal-Mart one. The set that I personally would buy is the 2-pack.

*Edit* The 3rd volume should only go up to episode 10.

Okay. Thank you all for your help! You've all been extremely specific and nice!

Although it's more of an inconvenience to switch DVRAB every 2 episodes, I'm used to switching every four episodes with the "Full Metal Alchemist" DVRAB so it's not a big deal.

I plan to get the Wal-Mart set because it's the most cost-effective, it'll let rab know I want more, and it's the closest place to buy anime (at 10 minutes away versus a half hour being the next closest).

Is there any bonus features/supplementals I'll be missing out on buying this Wal-Mart set? That's the last deal-breaker.

? My parents are heading out to pick this up before it's gone. So if anyone could answer my question that'd be great!

I don't know for sure, but earlier in this thread someone posted that the 6th disk in the Wal-Mart set is extras, so I would assume you would not miss out on anything if they have a disk for them.

My mom used to buy me V-day gifts

I bought my copy of the Wal-mart edition last week. It's a good deal, especially since Media Blasters has no plans to release the rest of the series in the near future.
