more tax revenue

we partially agree on some things.. the corprations and ultra rich dont pay enough, the poor dont pay anything, everybody neeRAB to kick in

Current monthly deficit spending is 125 billion a month, there are 320 million people in US. Lets divide monthly deficit by nuraber of people. The monthly deficit is currently $375 per man, woman and child.

This is why we can safely claim this to be a spending problem.

Consider that gas going up $1 gallon hurts many families, how about additional taxes of $1500 a month on a family of four?

But, but, but GE and rich people. You are correct, fucking retarRAB.

Oh right, all of your costs magically vanish when you lose a shift at work. Your car payment gets redcued, your food becomes cheaper, the electric company gives you a discount.

When you have fixed costs....and you know you have fixed costs....and you reduce how much you earn you are knowingly increasing your debt.

agreed. tax cuts do not = spending.

advantageous loopholes that benefit one industry/organization more than another = subsidization however. I'm not saying it's the governments money, but what I am saying is that it is an unfair tax that can not be applied evenly across the entire spectrum.

The correct analogy is, you get a bank to loan you the value of your yearly income * .5, so you have 1.5x your income at your disposal.

You spend all of it, mostly on nothing of value.

Then, you say "I have a deficit!" - so you take a handgun, go to your boss and hold it to his head and tell him "I need a raise, because of you I have spent more money than I have"

Pretending that cutting taxes doesn't affect spending though is fucking retarded.

If you intentionally earn less money....complaining "man I spend too much money" is fucking stupid. Period.

Why don't we let those customers simply reach into the small business owners pockets and take money directly instead of using the Gov as a middle man via taxes?

Taking 100% of their money won't put a much more than a dent in the debt. Where does the money come from on year 2 since the rich will now be broke?
