Hi, a friend a mine (Avwijk) and the guys from M-R just happen to have the E90 right now and noticed that E90 has SCHC support.
They passed this along to me so you E90 owners can have more reasons to buy it.

Looks nice, 4gb....it's like have a N91 combined with the e90 now.
I'm hoping that they add this to N95 (with maybe a fw upgrade)

And the required pic:

Yes, I know about those...it would be nice if it could support them.
But seeing the SDHC support it, chances are it should support 8gb also.

Youtube wont work until Flash Lite 3.0 comes out.

Flash Lite 2.1 can handle the bangersong fine, but most s60v3 phones dont have that built it, they have version 2.0

This is nothing set in stone imo. THis could very well be like toprams post regarding the N80s support of a 4gig. If you notice, nothing has been put on the card and I would like to see its ability to perform with 3+gigs loaded on that mofo. Until I see someone like AAS formally broadcasting that it supports it and will run smoothly I willl be satisfied.

ye, they have to use it 1st, showing 4GB is not enough anymore, even E61 does that..

but it will be a very wise move on Nokia's part if they support SDHC for E90, this will make E90 very near the perfect phone/pda indeed...

Some SDHC cards are really cheap because they are rated for continuous speed and not burst speed, so they might actually be slower than the regular SD cards.

SDHC's have different class, class 2, 4 & 6. Basically the write speed is different between classes. I think it's 2/4/6mb write speed. The Original SD's just had the speed in terms of 60x or 150x numbers, and you had to test them via different SD tools. So this is nice way to know which SD you're getting.

I know my Digicam for example could only take SD's but Canon recently told the users that SDHC is also a working media, so that boosted the camera sales incredibily, so the SDHC news for E90 is terrific.

I am actually thinking about upgrading from N80 to E90 when it's released and the prices are affordable.
