The Bikers' did Tour of Britain
Market Kitchen are doing Big Adventure

to be fair both are just following in the footsteps of Rick Stein, Gary Rhodes and the great Keith Floyd with that idea.
 
Have to say that I prefer them when they're travelling around on their bikes but this was OK, bit of a change but Jodie Prenger's (sp?) fish pie looked revolting!
 
It looked as though it could be a weekend morning show or weeknight BBC1 childrens show.

I'm not sure how they get these 20 - 30 episode series from the beeb.
 
I enjoyed their travelling around the world shows and their GB tour was also good. I suppose they have exhausted all the travelling possibilities and, being so popular with the viewing public, need a new vehicle (ouch!) to showcase their talents.
 
After watching two episodes now I can DEFINITELY say I prefer them out and about on their bikes. There must be loaRAB of places left in the UK/Ireland that they haven't explored and tonnes of places round the world (but I suppose that would be very expensive).

They seem quite constrained in the studio environment and a bit stiff. They are much better when the are spontaneous and not reading from a script IMO.

However I'll continue watching because I do like them :)
 
I love the Hairy Bikers but just dont like this show, it seems a tad cheesy and forced they dont look at all comfortable in a studio setting.

Personally Im looking forward to the next series of Mums Know Best.
