More Dragonball?

I can't help but wonder....Do you think Akira Toriyama would be willing to do more Dragonball if he could take it in another direction? Maybe similar to the 'Son Goku and FrienRAB Return' special?

Perhaps not another series, but maybe a few animated movies written and drawn by him (storyboard wise) over the next few years would be nice.
If only to be a big insult to that terrible looking live action thing that is coming out soon....

I love the fact that he recognizes that even Trunks and Goten could defeat Freeza by now.....and he also seems to notice that Videl and Satan have become popular characters since they got more screen time than Gohan..

Oh, and was Muten Roshi's voice the only one that sounded different? It wasn't nearly as fun as the original...

Well, the new special is definatly an indication of what he is willing to do, at this point, we don't really know.

But, we do know that it Can happen. So lets hope it does, I would really enjoy more dragonball.

Just out of curiosity, I did a wiki search on the special and found out he's spent the last five years trying to develop a DB MMPORG game. He's apparently got full creative control, and it's set 217 years after the manga as a direct sequel..

The thing is that anyone can edit Wikipedia at any time, so you'll have to take that info with a grain of salt.

If Akira Toriyama were really working on a new Dragon Ball project, such news would be all over the internet, not just on Wiki. I call "fake" on this.

I call a non-fake on this one.

I don't know exactly how long this dragonball online game has been in production, but it has been in production, I've seen pictures and stuff before.

I would like something like the Rebuild of Evangelion movies and have a movie made for each saga just abridged to a movie format and done with even better, more up-to-date animation.

Well, if someone could provide a link for it, or some pics, then that would be convincing, but just saying "I read it on Wikipedia" is the internet equivalent of "I heard it from a guy.".

Haven't checked it out, but claims it's the official DB Online webpage..

I really think it's just run its course. I mean, if they ever make another Z movie I suppose nobody will complain, but I don't think anybody should be begging Toriyama to write even more of the story.

Dragonball Online is real, however I'm not sure I believe just how absolute Toriyama's handling with the game is. I'll wait until further news proves me wrong or right.
