Nah, Uber's got my attention on this one. Hrmm...choices, choices. Yeah you got me on that one...I'm definitely hyperfocussed. I wasn't intending on waiting for her though...I figured that everything was off by tonight; this being marked by my insanely pissed attitude at the beginning of this thread.

My question is how could I tell her that I won't wait for her, I'll be her friend, not her crutch, and that if she decides to come around, I probably won't be there?

Actions speak louder than words. The next time she cries or complains about the other guy, just tell her, "I'm here for you". Do just that. Be there for her. Don't make it anything more than that. She'll figure out you're not waiting around for her soon enough. You really don't have to say anything to get the point across.

(By the way, this will more than likely drive her nuts).

Something like this....

"You know I want to be more than friends, and it hurts too much to be around you right now, so let's give it some time. Maybe we can pick up in the future."

Hmm this is a tough one.

Either I drive her completely insane with kindness and empathy...

Or I set the record straight by laying down the pimp hand...

I'm goin with #2.

Just take whatever her response is with a grain of salt. When she sees you with other girls, more than likely, she'll see green. If not, oh well, like Uber said, you'll be other girls anyway so who cares? ;)

(by the way, it would be EEEvvillll only to her not him  )

Sweet! I won something! Wait wait...I know what it is...OMFG ITS DIGNITY!!

Anyway thanks for the support guys...please...keep posting ideas I need all the help I can get...but thanks for the help...seriously.

I gotta go to bed and then to work tomorrow...I'll try to remember to check the site and I'll post how things go.

If you think you luck at love stinks...wait till you see what Real Life has in store for you when it comes to a career ;)

Just kidding. Do yourself a favor...Don't take it all so seriously. All these experiances give you the opportunity to learn. Now weather its learn from good things or learn what you really, REALLY, REALLY, don't want is your choice of perspective.

Good luck

Well I tried speaking with her earlier today...didn't have any luck; she was out with her family or something.

I spoke with my friend Chris about what JXLC said, yeah, we both agreed that seems like the most plausible two endings to the saga. So I'm gonna lay it all straight tomorrow hopefully.

Wish me luck guys.
