Now this is a Bond movie, can't remember anything from Brosnan or Craig's drab efforts.

Jaws, Space Shuttles and space Marines, this brings back some childhood memories.


My God, what's Bond doing?

roger moore is my fave bond as he was in the role when i was a kid.

Roger Moore was my favourite Bond.Loved Jaws as well.Didn't he do the Shredded Wheat ad years ago.Thats Richard Kiel now and not James Bond.

I like Moonraker .

Its a shame its slightly spoilt by some of the stupid attempts at humour but the action and the music are good enough for me.

I rate it higher than Live and Let Die and A View To A Kill

Love Moonraker. It does feel like a bit of a rehash of The Spy Who Loved Me in places. But love GODger Moore.

As much as I like Casino Royale and Daniel Craig, I always end up swapping the dvd for a good old Roger Bond movie.

I'm not a fan of Moonraker myself, the best Bond film Roger Moore did was The Spy Who Loved Me by far.

As was You Only Live Twice which is essentially the precursor of both films in story terms.

Oh & Moonraker sucks balls & I say that as a fan of the Moore era.

You have to remember Moonraker was the first Bond film made after the success of Star Wars. Space films were all the rage, it even forced Bond into the act.

Also, kudos to the effects guys, no-one had seen a space shuttle lift-off at the time, & the effects look pretty darn good considering.

Moonraker was a last minute change brought on by the success of Star Wars.

Even today at the end of The Spy Who Loved Me it says "James Bond Will Return in For Your Eyes Only".

But Star Wars made them go for Moonraker which says the exact same line at the end.

I wonder why they never changed the line at the end of "Spy".

They changed the original end of Goldfinger which said "Bond will return in OHMSS" on its cinema release but has not done so since
