Im having some really interfering mood swings and its affecting everything. Im currently getting about 4 hours sleep a night and i dont think this helps. Im at college and each day depends on my mood, i mean the past 2 weeks ive been overly confident and ive felt excellent, my self esteem has soared and i feel so good and i was really excelling, This week i have been feeling apathetic, tired and just low.

Its on and off and i dont know what to expect each day. I am not suffering from depression, just low, although i have had previous episodes of depression.

I really do not know what to do but its really affecing my studies and my social life.

Any suggestions? Thank you!!

Just listen to you're favorite music and chill out :) It helps me. Hope it helps you and you feel better :) Just relax hehe

sounds a little like bipolar disorder to me, feel free to Google it but here's my really sketchy definition of it:
It's a type of manic depression that has severe mood swings all the time
you have crazy episodes and no one will ever know when you're gonna explode
you can in a single day vary from happy, bubbly and exciting to angry, anxious and upset

this might not even be the case, b/c college is an extremely stressful time of your life. Stress is killer on the body and mind, and can also cause mood swings
i know this is the answer to all mental health questions but seriously see a psychiatrist this is affecting your future here

here is exactly what I did because I am actually going throught that right now. But what really helps me is to read your favorite poem and make meaning of it. Listen to your favorite song that describes what your going through. Try to catch your favorite show on tv and my favorite if you feel low when you wake up in the morning take a hot shower then crank up your favorite song

I hope you get through this because these things are helping me get through it too

If you have had depression in the past, I suggest talking to somebody who really understands you on a personal level. If you are definitely sure it isn't depression, then try maintaining a diet and relaxing yourself more. Don't stress during college, just be yourself.

Um, you may also just have the after-effects of a super happy week. lol

I hope you get better soon. =)
