Mood swings, any advice...?

i have no idea what is happening with me. for the earlier hours of the morning i was perfectly fine and fairly happy. and just now i bashed my religion badly and i started crying uncontrollably. and now i'm feeling somewhat depressed about it and i have no idea what to do now or what is going on. i'm starting to feel like my world is just crashing down and i'm a little over the edge. and i'm fairly tensed and stressed out which doesn't help the situation either. any advice on how to overcome this feeling?
it has been for some time, nearly 3 years. late last year early this year was the worse. and this is the first mood swing i have had in months.
 
when im stressed , and feel like every little thing is bigger and every big thing is gigantic i like to fine some relaxing music. there are some great on youtube and i just try to relax and calm myself down. i lock my door of my study , sit against the door , or lie down and just do breathing techniques. i breathe in for 4 seconds and breathe out for 5. i try to imagine myself on my favorite holiday destination ( or your favorite place you would like to be ) and just relax. after 8 minutes i feel refreshed and calm. it helps for me to say aloud - i will forget my worries , i will forget my stress. i then close my eyes and imagine im sitting in the sun. i hope this helps you , it might not but for me its helps :)
