Things aren't going too well for me right now so I'm kind of in the mood for something that will lift my spirits. Any recommendations?

The Beatles - Let it be, Here comes the sun
U2 - Beautiful day
Modest Mouse - Float on

Franz Ferdinand - Ulysses
Dashboard Confessional - HanRAB Down

Let me know if you need more These are just some I poached from my own playlist, I'm sure I could come up with others...

Hey Pooper - I also really suggest a lot of stand up comedy and funny movies in terms of heart break. Pink's song So What is also a GREAT break up song, esp. if your a chick, but it still may help

...should be enough for now

"Feelins healing," "Porkchop," and "Tired eyes" are great feel good music, and it is excellent old-time soul like the group, War, and almost as good as them, especially Porkchop. They are from the 2003 album, The One Is the Three, by Natural Afrodisiac.

Some of the lyrics from Porkchop:

Gots me on the down
Gettin into the sound
I'm havin a good time
Burnin up the stash
Later frienRAB feelin no gaps
I bet you're having a good time

I may have some of those lyrics wrong 'cause I just transcribed them while listening to the song.

I've suffered from depression for many years, and I always used to feel better after a long ten-hour drive, lots of loud classic hard rock, and lots of coffee.
