Monsters, Inc 2 confirmed

What are the opinions on this? the right Pixar film to get a sequel?
I'd rather have The Incredibles 2 myself but I did love Monsters Inc as well. Shame we have a 2 and a half years wait now!
 
I loved Monsters Inc but its a bit belated isnt it?
I'd love The Incredibles 2 with Dash, Jak Jak and the daughter (can't remember the name) :)
 
i allways thought there woul be as for incerdibles 2 dont see why not the only reason there havent been squels apart from toy story is disney emyploed pixer and now they own them and all trademarks it will happen
 
I wonder if Boo will be back, but a little older and she enRAB up coming into the monsters world again, or maybe the Monsters get lost on Earth and she will have to try and get them home?
 
I agree with the OP. I'd prefer The Incredibles 2.

I'm sure that The Incredibles 2 will come in time and this delay gives them more time to make it even more special.

At the end of the day I guess the sequels should come in order so Monsters Inc deserves to be first.
 
Can't wait for this! It's been my favourite Pixar film so far apart from Ratatouille..

I found The Incredibles really boring so I probably wouldn't watch a sequel of it.
 
Really? As much as I adore Disney Pixar and Monsters Inc. I kind of loved the way the last one ended. :(

I'd rather not see a sequel to any Pixar films.
 
Sooo excited! Definitely Top 3 Pixar movies (With Finding Nemo and Toy Story 2) so delighted it's getting a sequel.

Next we need Nemo to get lost again, and another Incredibles Movie!
 
Honestly, I know I'm probably in the minority but i find Pixar films somewhat overrated, I do really like Monsters Inc. though and they've shown they can do a very good job of making sequels so this should be good :)
 
I love Monsters Inc. One of my all time fav disney movie alongside Nemo

Taken ages to announce a sequel. The fact it's taken so long means it may not be a disappointement. It was bound to happen one day considering the end scene triggered the feeling there was gonna be one anyway.
 
I hope they actually have a decent story for it and it's not all for money-grabbing reasons. The Incredibles is the beyond obvious one to get a sequel but maybe it wouldn't get made unless director Brad Bird decided to go ahead with it.
 
out of all the Pixar movies that deserve a sequal was The Incredibles i have always thought. the original just feels like the start of a bigger story arc.

I do love Monsters Inc though.

But i dont think The Incredibles was that successful box office wise, well, successful enough for Pixar.
Neither was Cars (which didnt do that well at all)..but the merchandise alone literally earned over a billion $$$ - hence Cars 2.
 
Shrek isn't a Pixar film.

Monsters Inc 2 is great news! I love the first, one of my favourite movies, not just Pixar. Not too fussed on the idea of The Incredibles 2, that and Cars are the two weakest Pixar films IMO.
