Monster in Law

What a load of rubbish.

I was hoping I'd see lots of Jane Fonda vamping it up ( the Jay Lo head smashing into the cake scene in the trailers was promising)
Instead it was all the usual sugary goo you expect from Hollywood.

Someone please tell me to stop going to see this crap!

I'm disappointed that Micheal Vartan from Alias agreed to be in it. Surely he must have thought rent couple of her movies before i sign the contract..........

J. Lo has only been in one decent film 'Out of Sight' with George Clooney and has the ignomy of being in one of the worst films i've seen 'Maid In Manhattan' and one of the worst i haven't 'Gigli'

Can't really feel sympathy for someone complaining about Monster in Law being crap. What did you expect tbh??

And i've no doubt Micheal Vartan got a decent wedge of cash for it, and he's hardly Brando, so I think you may see him in more of this type of film in the future.

I'm a big Alias fan but I'm not saying he's Brando, he's suited to the romcom genre, he's already been in Never Been Kissed and was good in One Hour Photo that robin williams does stalker film but there's nothing worse than a crap romcom :p

What was that sci-fi film she was in? I seem to remember thinking that was an OK film.

Also if you have to sit in and watch a chic flick film with your gf / wife I thought that the wedding planner was OK.

Also I do like her big bum :o

But generally her films are utter pap, I don't normally pay to much attention to reviews but Monster In Law was given 0 stars instead just a turkey icon by the one review I have read and that does make the alarm bells ring somewhat..

Cheers Ratinho, that was was it - The Cell - lol can't have been that good cos I can't actually remember what it was about - just seem to have a recollection that it was OK

I was hoping Jane Fonda's comeback film would be good, I cringed when I heard she would be in a movie with Jennifer Lopez :(

I will be seeing it for Jane Fonda, nothing else.

As I say, I thought Jane Fonda would make the difference and avoid it becoming treacle.

Who wants happy endings?

PAH! I wanted to see her shoving J LO into the garden composer in the final scene :D

Not going to see it...cause J.lo is in it obviously...but when I was a fan of hers, I watched all her movies and I loved
"Out of sight", "the Cell" was good and "the Wedding Planner" was good, "Selena" was also very good...The rest of her movies sucked. She really isnt a good actress anymore...I dont know if she ever was actually, but as she ages she becomes worse. Plus shes a total BITCH, and who wants to give her more money?
