street cause its illegal? why is it illegal. mom tells me I need to get a license for having a yard sale outside and selling my stuff to others. Or that I need to pay money to make that spot mine in order to sell. can someone explain to me the legal issues here with this. And if I wanted to start my own yard sale on the street How would I need to do that in a legal manner. Please answer both-----is that a legal issue, and if yes, how to still sell? I live in the UNITED STATES. IN THE WONDERFUL STATE OF NEW YORK. and if anyone is wondering------------absolutely not--------i am not gonna be freezing my assssss out on the cold wintery days----only summer days!!!!!
