molluscum contagiosum

I have bumps on my back and chest that was diagnosed as molluscum contagiosum. I have been to a md and also to two dermatologists neither have given any meds or any treatment, except that they will go away in time
I have had these for six months and now family members are being infected. Does anyone know of any way to get rid of this, they are very uncomfortable and embarassing. Thanks
 
My children got these a couple years ago and they were very painful to them. The had them in the inner thigh area and they bled when bothered. The dr told me that they most likely got them from a juccuzi tub that was not properly cleaned. What I did to get rid of them is find the largest of the bump and I scrubbed it till it bled then put duct tape on it and smothered it. It sounds crazy...but they all started dying within days. The key is to keep it smothered and dry!
