Molex connector problem

[RIP MJ (miss you)]

Got my new bars on and went to plug in my TBW connection. The pins all line up, but the connector wont snap into place. It's bottoming out before the connectors can seat.
I've tried to move the plate up and down, and it will only move about an 1/8 of an inch each way.
I can't pull it up to even release the pins, any suggestions?

The only thing I can think of is, are you sure all the pins came thru and not one of them is bent over under the plate? Just a thought.

Six pins, six holes.
Now you made me think a little bit, and one of the wires could be bent up inside the connector, preventing the plate from seating.
I'll check that out before i get the duct tape out.LOL

You need to get it to seat completely. I would remove the wires and replug them. Make sure the white block seats and locks down. If you can't plug the connectors all the way, something is not going to work. I had the exact same thing happen. No cruise, or radio controls from the right side. took it apart got it to lock down and all worked.
