mole on face inflamed and hurting, help!

Hi, I am a 22 year old male with not prior health concerns over my life. I was born with a mole on my left cheek that has always been large. It is not discolored, but I have shaved over the area in the past so it is shaped oddly due to scarring. The mole is circular at the base, and has no dark areas to it. However, since it is on my face I am constantly touch it. Also, my facial hair grows right through it. Instead of shaving over it and cutting it I began plucking it about 3 years ago. Recently it has been hurting very badly periodically and also will go through an enflamed phase when the hairs grow out which drives me nuts.

I am so afraid it is melanoma, plus I have a suspicious dark mole on my arm as well causing concern. Am I going to die? I dont want cancer. Would I have symtpoms? Ive had these moles both forever and havent died yet but I feel like it is coming! Please, advice!!!
 
They are most likely benign. See a dermatologist and have them removed. I've had 3 removed from my face and it's no big deal.
