Modern Chinese History?

THis is my version of Modern Chinese History:

Starting from the late 19th century, China was
in a turmoil. There were rebels everywhere, thinkings
everywhere, and dangers everywhere. Dr. Sun Yat-Sen
led the KMT Party to go on the Revolution against
the Imperial Dynasty, and succeeded in the year
1912. He founded the Republic of China, which
was the first Democratic regime in Asia.

Going from the first 10 years of ROC(Republic of China),
everything was to be established, it never felt like
a united country, until 1928, when then the Generalissimo
of KMT Chiang Kai-Shek led the KMT army to wipe
out all the warlords and rebels. He wiped everything out
except the Communist Party, led by Mao Ze-Dong.

In 1937, Japan invaded China, starting the well-known
World War II. Chiang Kai-Shek made peace with
the Communist Party, and faught against Japan.
With the huge aid from U.S. and the superb military
strategy of Chiang Kai-Shek, China won in 1945.

Communist Party immediately rebelled, and due to
the lack of energy and morale of the government,
they stole mainland China in 1949. The government
led by Chiang Kai-Shek had to retreat to Taiwan.

In Taiwan, the government tried to fight back and
reunited the country in the first 20 years, and until
in 1975, when Chiang Kai-Shek died, and also
in around 1988, when his son Chiang Ching-Kuo
died, that the government tried to find another way
to go back to mainland China.

Over the past 20 years, from 1990-2010, the government
and the Communist Party were on a constant
struggle and negotiation, but nothing will ever
work out...
