"Mobile Suit Gundam 00" on Sci Fi's Ani-Monday Series Talkback (Spoilers)

Pfft. Flay was a *****. Nena is love. The freckles just make her cuter.
Sure, there's the rampant sociopathy to deal with, but who can say no to that pretty face?

Well, this was good. The only voice I can honestly say I'm not sold on is Allelujah. Everyone else is solid.

It's a bit of a slow start, but things are bound to ramp up. I just wish they could have gone faster in certain spots, like with all of the Gundam launch sequences in episode 2 (took forever!).

I also noticed a couple of cuts, probably for time. In particular, we don't get to see Sumeragi drinking on the job.

Only SEED characters i could stand was Fllay and Mu La Flaga, others were meh.

As for these two eps, i wanted to see at least one get captured....stupid extra Gundams hehe, 7 Gundams on the same freaking side UGH! But at least the recap was well done.

Well, HC, its not like anyone is going to expect he's working for a privately funded peacekeeping militia, piloting a superhightech machine. I mean, what are the chances of that?

Edit: I mean seriously, you think they get someone more qualified to pilot the Gundam, like Chuck Norris or Bruce Carabell.

"That group is using a form of warfare known as terrorism!"

No, Setsuna, really?

Interesting development with the buses. Who exactly is behind it?

I don't think it just purely because of her VA. Something else, some other development that lenRAB a hand to her popularity. Even a VA can't make a character the top female character in polls.

Another question: If Nena is unaware that her actions are wrong, do the fans still have the right to hate her?

Yes, what she did was terrible. But can we still hate such a character who has little understanding what they did?

Well, there was a reason to say this. Lockon was outraged whereas Tieria was completely indifferent and being a jackass in general. There was disagreement about how they should be reacting to the situation. Setsuna's comment, however, points out that what they've done is an act of warfare, and as such it is within Celestial Being's mandate to destroy them.

Edit: Hey, check out Wang's pink plane. Heh.

My head's in agonizing pain deducting how we have an AU HellCat and Juu-kuchi posting on just one thread at the same time our HellCat and Juu-kuchi continue to go across the rest of the board.

. . .

I think this talkback thread is a gateway to some sort of Internet time paradox, created by . . . ow, head hurt. HEAD HURT!

Hehe. I so can't wait for this. The Ocean Group, judging by their recent dubs, has finally broken away from sounding generic or like 80's throwbacks, and I hope their latest Gundam dub continues that trend.

I will say that I'd preferred LA VAs for this one, though. I really wish Jason Spisak was the voice of Setsuna, not Brad Swaile.

If Marina has a crappy voice it's clobberin' time, to quote a certain character once voiced by Paul Dobson.

Tell me, where's your God NOW?! Nice line. Setsuna's hate of Ali comes off well.

Hong Long's dodging bullets, Lockon's sniping. Good episode.

See, we fangirls knew Nena was bad from the start. It took her blowing up a wedding for everyone else to realize it Poor Louise, though. Saji worked so hard to by the ring for her and she can't wear it. So sad.

Go Graham, you take down Johann. He neeRAB it. All of the Trinity neeRAB it. And Setsuna arrives at the end to do just that. I love his entrance.
