"Mobile Suit Gundam 00" on Sci Fi's Ani-Monday Series Talkback (Spoilers)

Yeah. Loving the Trinity Siblings, especially Michael. He's such a.. uh.. I can't say that word on here, but "not nice" would about cover it. xD

I like the way they handled the clip show. Had it told from different perspectives and what not instead of the narrator just force-feeding us stuff we've seen.

So...I still haven't watched this, but based on the first four episodes, do you think I should go for the original version or the dub? The impression that I'm getting of the dub from this thread doesn't seem all that positive...

*Dodge Beam Cannon Fire*

Whoa, sorry about the jokes.
I didn't think people would take it too seriously. Sorry. This is one of the few times someone can make fun of something this horrible.

I really don't believe that Lousie or her familly deserved what occured to them. It was a random sense of violence, and it was terrible.

I've learned my lesson, use emoiticons on the boarRAB

Aw, poor Al is stuck on the ship while the other three Meisters get to have all the fun >.>

Saji and Louise... =[

Intra-Meister drama, dun dun dun.

See, here's the thing about Nena. I really, really want to like her even despite her love of genocide. I mean, why not? She's pretty cute, has that yandere/tsundere quality to her and in the Japanese version is voiced by my goddess and love eternal/fated one Rie Kugimiya (I...love...her...). But then again, SHE'S FREAKING CRAZY. And then there's the fanboys who want to impeach me out of the Kugimiya Love-Love fanclub because I don't like Nena.

I try to look past the craziness and focus on her looks (Wait isn't that supposed to be reversed) but it's really hard because she is just that crazy. And if it wasn't for me thinking "You lucky bastard," I'd be pretty sorry for Setsuna getting his first kiss from her. Of course, it doesn't help that I want to punch her in the face every time I look at her though.

Wow... the main ship isn't immune to everything like the Archangel was. I'm... not used to this. Curse you Sunrise. I hope they are okay.. =[ And Tieria's out of commission now, Patrick seems to be dead, Allelujah's getting torn up.. goodness gracious.

This Graham guy seems like he might stand a chance. I mean, that cliffhanger...I wonder how Setsuna will get out of that and if Graham will survive such a rash attack.

I doubt the AEU have much of a chance if that Patrick is the best they've got. If he goes for revenge, he's almost certain to die pretty quick.

"I am a....ZAKU"
Enemy forces die of laughter.

Even worse, Imagine if he was WaDom? That thing looks ridiculous on its own.

I can't wait till the people here realize how much Setsuna pwns so I can stop wanting to post spoilers.

25 was longer than usual, though. Time that would've normally gone to credits was used for the epilogue instead. They could always speed through the season 2 credits and then cut back to the end.

Something like this really shouldn't happen. I mean, if they're going to cut things off, I'd just as soon not have an opening. It's great to show it, IF YOU CAN. If the tradeoff is cutting actual content though, it's just not worth it.

I certainly hope this doesn't have to happen with any other episode.

I don't think the 'I am Gundam' thing is as silly as some are making out. They've already suggested it's more a vow of Setsuna's dedication to the Gundam's mission statement. In some ways it's sad, because he's effectively saying he sees himself as a tool to eradicate warfare.

If you want to see 'I am Gundam' done in a bad way, watch SDGF. The actual living Gundams keep insisting Shute is 'an honorary Gundam', which just comes off as cheesey.

Oh for the last time, does anyone in CB understand the concept of the difference between terrorism and regular military operations!?

Setsuna makes a terrible philosophical argument. He really neeRAB to read St. Aquinas, or how to make an argument.

Wow, even Nena is shocked that she kiss Setsuna!

What the heck?! GN Reactors?

Yea your spoilers show the potential of season 2, so why are people complaining so much?

AS I STATED ABOVE, this is a series that is broken up in two parts, and as of now from what i heard, there is dubbing going on for season 2 or should be. I mean yes, the cliffhanger ending threw us off, but at least its a great set up for next season of Gundam 00. Id rather have that than some weak sappy ending then try to tie that in for a next season. I freaking watch 24, i know all about cliffhanger endings to tie the next season of viewing.

Yea, Sci fi loves the broken up episodes and commercial tie ins randomly through the episodes. And the speed up ending credits of course, but at least they show the openings well enough, thats something.

Oh yea, Ali Al-Saachez i have a feeling will return... come on you know it...
