"Mobile Suit Gundam 00" on Sci Fi's Ani-Monday Series Talkback (Spoilers)

Not gonna lie, I burst out laughing at that. Such a serious moment and bam, James Bond xDAgreed, especially early on like this. They all have very different temperaments and they're still learning how best to work with each other.

And Setsuna... you do not understand the concept of subtlety... at all. And it's really funny. I like how he randomly stalks Marina's plane, too. Good times.

While I've been keeping up with the show since it first started, these last couple of weeks have been the first time I've got a chance to sit & watch the episodes from start to finish & it looks like I picked the right time to start doing so. This show definately has my full attention now.

It's been quite sometime since I've managed to legtimatelty despise a fictional character for their 'character', but the Gundam Trinity group managed to do the job, so kudos to the writers for that. Man these people take the cake as far as 'mentally unbalanced' in concerned. Especially Nena. Yeah, thought I'd like her when she first showed up. (Mostly 'cause I thought she was cute & the freckles were a plus) But yeah, that ship has sailed loooooong ago.

Man, I really feel for Louise & Haji(?). Wonder whats going to happen with those two now. They seemed to be a fun little couple from what little I seen of them beforehand.

I was really cheering for Graham when he was in action & while it looks bleak, I'm really hoping Setuna will manage something against those three. The Gundam Trinity really neeRAB some humility.

Inuyasha was NEVER that sadistic, or at least never sounded like that.

But yeah, it's still Cox, so he's still gonna sound like Inuyasha. You just have to get past it.

That was a short that came with the dvd collection, i thought it was ok. Then then there movie version of the OVA too, which is a summed up version of the OVA, which... just watch the ova (havent seen it, but i know not to watch it).

Yea, i liked 0083 ova (which is why i own it). The music was really good, both intro/ending/bgm with it, just about Feddie grunts going after rouge zeon armies (and contract soldiers, or Cima's Marines since they worked for the Federation and Delaz Fleet), and a love triangle/story.

Yea, Gundam 00 got really good. Lockon is dead, and half the crew for Sumeragi is dead, and one ep next week. I liked Lockon, which is why this got good, and bugged me today since i finished the last 2 ep monday night this morning before i went to work.

Ah... this is gonna bug me till next week. And come on, you know Sci Fi will air the rest probably by the fall, they freaking have too. Ani Monday is having the support by Bandai and im sure this is a huge thing right now, or to me that is...

My (eventual) grave, that's what.

But in all seriousness, there wasn't much worth protecting. That's the point. The Thrones are picking on backwater bases that hold no real importance, or civilian-run production plants, when someone like Nena isn't blowing up a wedding for the hell of it.

Graham doing some serious damage to Johann was really awesome, though.

This episode really sold me on it, actually. I thought he was exceptionally twisted and psychotic sounding when he was slowly killing the enemy pilot. I hear much more Inuyasha in Al's voice than Hal's personally. But I like them both.

Ok, just checked and as it was covered in episode 2 I can have my rant.

Anyone saying this is pacifism or what have you- you're wrong. It was covered in the latter half of episode 2 how CB really intenRAB to change things. They know the interventions can't quell century long conflicts, instead they plan to pick a fight with everyone and anyone so that humanity becomes united through their singular hatred of the Gundams and Celestial Being. No 'If only we'd listen to each other' fluff here. They're taking advantage of the fact people don't care unless something affects them and any enemy no one can corabat affects EVERYBODY.

There's still alot of questionable things about what they've just started but I think it's clear that everyone gets why they're doing it (at least in their own worRAB)

I finally got arounf to watching this weeks GUndam on My DVR last night...I'm mot sure how much I like the show anymore...Too many of the good guys died....and most were just pointless, Unjustifible Character deaths...the only one that had any meaning wass Laggans! i just can't stand shows that do that....well I guess I'll still watch next week since its the last episode of season 1 though!

[strike]It did, actually. I was watching the first episode of Wing, and I heard it oRABcreen and I was like "WTF, Light?"[/strike]

Never mind... I was thinking of someone else. I haven't seen much of Gundam Wing. I apologize.

Graham rocks! easily my favorite character in this besides Alli/Halli, hmmmmm stole his weapon and cut off his arm, wonder if they can use those parts to learn some things hehehehe.

Nene = ugh, i liked her at first i really did, but now she deserves pain, liked Johan at first also, couldn't stand whats his name at all though, Setsuna better at least take one of their gundams down to scraps.
