Mobile IM issues

I have a Voyager with ulimited TXT and unlimited Data and I use the Mobile IM application alot during the day. I never had a problem despite being in an area with sort of bad service most of the day untill 2 mondays ago.

This only seems to happen with the Yahoo portion of the program but when I send a message there is up to a 45 minute delay before the person I am messaging receives my IM. And then alot of I often don't receive their replies and they think I am ignoring them on purpose.

I dont have this problem when using AIM but most of the people I want to IM with are on Yahoo.

A few of my friends on Verizon said theve seem some slowdown with yahoo mobile IM but not like I have. I actually got a replacement Voyager last week because my old one crapped out and the problem is worse now happening even in areas with good service.

Anyone know anything about this?
 
If none of the other IM companies are having issues with your phone, then it isn't the network. It is most likely Yahoo! Mobile. Sometimes, issues do happen, sometimes they do mandatory system updates.

You can try and call Verizon Wireless technical support at 1-800-493-1625 from a phone other than the Voyager. They will do a lot of standard troubleshooting and they will try and help you, but the odds of a resolution are unlikely. I have no issues with mine.
