ok so does anyone have a cricket branded phone with working mms....if so is there anyway they could get all the mms settings....ports...server address...user names..and passworRAB....etc..etc....thanks

I'll be happy to help if you tell me how to get the info.. I've got a Kyocera Xcursion if that helps your instructions.

(I'm totally cell phone programming illiterate)

Easiest way for you to get the "deep programming" info for your phone would be to:

--Call Cricket Customer Support (*611) and ask them for your subsidy code. If they ask, tell them your phone is locked and it's asking for the code. OR, stop by your local Cricket OFFICIAL office and ask them for your "Secondary Sublot Code". If they ask why tell them you need it for a third-party data cable you bought online. Sorry for the deception, but smart Cricket employees might give you grief over why you should have the code.

--Enter six 1's (i.e., 1111111) and then from the right menu button choose "Service"

--On the next screen, choose "Programming". The phone will now ask you for your subsidy/secondary sublot code. Enter it.

--Copy those settings down (especially for data, WAP, DNS, etc.) and post them here.

Good hunting, and thanks!

Just to update: I called Cricket and got the subsidy code for my old Nokia 6265i.

Now all I need are the special codes to get into the deep menus/MMS settings on the phone.

Gonna check/search the Nokia forums.

*sigh*

Sorry guys,I'm worthless on this one right now.

I did a phone exchange yesterday, and then decided to keep my old phone for now... and now my cricket clicks, MMS, and browser aren't working.

I'll be happy to help once I figure out how to get these things fixed...The cricket store couldn't do anything for me.. they started a tech support ticket.
