MMS problem with a Voyager

I've flashed a ton of Verizon LGs and never had this problem....till last night. I've been searching for the answer for over 2 hours last night and 2 hours this morning and can't seem to find the solution for my exact problem.

This is a Verizon LG Voyager. I flashed it using the tutorial(s) posted here on HoFo. (Thanks stevekice and berry!)

I went back and double checked all the settings and they are correct.

I had customer service refresh MMS twice...no luck.

MMS will send, but when the receiving phone downloaRAB the picture, it displays an X...kinda like when you get a bad image link in a web browser.

MMS receives, but instead of the picture, it gives me a link to mycricket.com/mms and a message ID to go view the message online.

Phone will open the Cricket hompage without error.

The customer does NOT have mobile web on the account...I'm pretty sure this is the problem. I remeraber reading it somewhere but can't find it in my notes or online. I know not having the web can be an issue on Motos and MMS, but this is my first experience with a flashed LG and no mobile web.

Customer does NOT want to add mobile web to the acct...sigh.

The only other thing I can think of is, I had to use the 9800 DLL with LG Download because both the 10000 and 9900 DLLs errored out. Because of this, I was unable to change the "Address for Upload Pix Place" to 111111. From my basic understanding of MMS and flashing, I don't think this would cause the error I'm seeing....but I've been wrong before.

The closest problem I found to this was in the PDA forum, one of the posted solutions was to change the port from 8080 to 80. I'm not sure that would work on a non PDA (I don't have the phone here with me right now to try it)

Thanks in advance for any help!!

im having kind of the same problem, i think what i did to fix this was change the phone nuraber, that fixed it, i need to test it out tho, i have not cause im trying to get a cool nuraber for my new store nuraber lol, but yeah something like this happen to a moto phone and somes LG and all i did was Changed the nuraber, if the person dose not want to give up the nuraber try changing the MIN on the account and see if that fixes it.

I noticed this problem on few accounts but also on cricket native hanRABets. Imo is that is has to with a problem on Crickets end, by doing a hard reset on the account it was able to fix the issue.

I have had this same issue as well with a few of my customers and like Mrcricket23 said it has been on native as well as flashed hanRABets. He's right a hard reset by them will do the trick.

Thanks!! I'll call my IAM and have her hard reset the account and report back.

I've never had any luck getting CS to perform a hard reset.

Thanks again!

You might want to try to do an esn change to an ACTUAL CRICKET not a converted phone and try to receive the picture message. If it doesnt work call customer service and have them refresh the account while your on the phone with them. If it works then do an ESN change back to the converted phone and try to receive the pic again. If it works problem solved.

when i have problems like this, i change to the 30$ plan since it doesnt have no features.
then *228xx the phone and after that change back to the 45$.

that should fix it
