MMS concerns

I had a BB 8800 and was having a problem with mms. Every time I'd get one I would have to retrieve the image before viewing it.I figured it was my bb since the kids stepped on it, so I just purchased a new 8320 and lo and behold the same issue. My question is this, is anybody else on Tmo having this issue? Is there a way to solve this problem? Or is this a ongoin problem with BB in general?

Its an issue with a lot of t-mobile phones. A network issue. I'm not sure exactly why. I've known them to do some updates recently. And it seems like batches of customers will go down at one time. I had that problem for about 72hours and then it was resolved. It happens quite a bit recently. I as I had an estimated time of arrival. Where do you live. I can check your area out to see what's going on?~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~

Pictures come through on my 8320, but I do have to retrieve them once the message shows up. I never have a problem retrieving the picture though, just not as convenient as other phones.

There are times when I receive them after retrieving them and others I never get! Sometimes my friends get them other times they get a message saying the file has been deleted! It kind of aggravates me as I'm sure it does others!I mean we are paying for mms and it doesn't work! I live in georgia by the way! Thanks for answering me everyone!!~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~

I only send jpeg and gif files that I am aware of! And I do believe that if a file is to large it won't let you send as mms!~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~

Yes I had this problem since I think I got the 7105t a few years ago on T-Mobile. Same with my Pearls. Has their been ANY progress on it? I have resorted to sending pics thru BB Messenger (for those who have BB's) due to this.

MAKE SURE that you calibrate your phone. 99% of the time you have to send an MMS first from your phone, before it will correctly receive them. Try sending a pic first, then trying to receive one. This also occurs when the senders phone times out while uploading the pic. It happens sometimes.. dang electronics.

make sure that your blackberry memory isnt full. you can check the amount of free space by clicking options then status. i had trouble with receiving mms and my sms/mms inbox kept disappearing. it was due to my memory being full because i transferred all my data from my 8700g when i upgraded to the tmo curve.

I believe is a network problem. I have the same problem, I can send pictures but I can't receive them. When ever I do receive one, it ask to retrieve the msg, so far, I haven't been able to retrieve one msg! I just have ppl email me the file instead! I guess that's my little work around...
