MMS compression issues

Hey everyone! I'm one of the few Americans I know of who used MMS. But in this I have run into many problems. I thought I had thing running smoothly but alas, no. I am posting this in several areas because I don't know if it is a T-Mobile issue or my phone (Nokia N73).

I have 2 short movie, 6-7 seconds, compressed via 3gpp codec. On is 97k the other 128k. When I send either, the video and audio get so garbled that it isn't even worth watching. When they arrive to the phone they are 25-30k. What's going on?! I've already compressed them, why are they getting compressed again?!

On my phone, the MMS settings leave the file original size. I've also tried small and large sizes too. Is this my phone extra compressing or T-Mobile? Any help would be really great. Thanks!!!

P.S. I tried my old N70... same thing.

Its actually not your phone compressing the files it is the recievers phones, tried this on bluetooth just the other day from my N73 which I use on Cingular to my buddies branded v360, nothing. Most low end motorolas compress to under 32k which is what is causing the distortion issues. Give it a try to another smart phone and see if there is a difference. I have no idea if it is a T-Mobile network issue. It shouldn't be, but I don't claim to know that much about T-Mobiles network. Again to clarify I was transfering via Bluetooth.
