MML MFI Stop Connecting Fix

I had found the fix on the forum sometime ago. But I am seeing many posts about the problem and I could find the solution easily by searching.

Problem:
MML Stops connecting / Unlocking blackberries

Cause:
RIM seems to have updated their drivers which will block MML from working.
The seem to get updated when connecting a bold/storm.
The new drivers are also in the new Device Manager d/l.

Solution:
1) Copy [BbDevMgr.exe] from the location C:\MML\bin\
2) Overwrite the one in the location C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\USB Drivers\

MML Should connect again.
If not, try un-installing the blackberry drivers from device manager and try the steps again.

I have faced this problem today, what I did was uninstall DM v5 and install previous version v4.7 and MML MFI software recognized my BB device like a charm...!!!!!

RIM team are angry people....so, forget unlocking new devices on future, but, nobody knows what prepares the future....

Yup, I agree v5 of DM is a no-no if you wanna use MML.

The new security ones are hell with the fur*** dongle. So I guess in a year's time or so blackberry unlocking will have to be mainly server based again. An I hate having to tell a customer 2-4 weeks for an unlock code.
Just try to grab up as much of the 'easy' pearl/curve/bold while u can. Our market here is diminishing as we are seeing more an more javelin/storms, most of which have been unsuccessful on the dongle.
 
Well.. that's a solution, indeed.. but when I had this problem I solved it in another way:
Just check there is no bbdevmgr nor rimdevicemanager running (if they are kill them from task manager)
Then run the bbdevmgr in the mml directory THEN run MML..
It's just that easy.. because if bbdevmgr is running it takes all subsequent requests.
 
Thx Zibri, i will have to test this one. The more knowledge of tricks, the better.
But I guess with your method, I wud have to do that each time I wanna unlock a BB.
This way of replacing the bbdevmgr is kinda permanent (at least until the bb drivers get somehow updated again).

about trick I know many more, but as I said in THIS post I'm willing to discuss it only with people sharing knowledge.
 
HI, I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIND A FULL VERSION OF MFI Multiloader v2.0.1.3 ....... I CAN NOT FIND IT.....
CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME????
